100% Grenache crafted from Thunderstone Vineyard in the Royal Slope. Thunderstone is a sustainably farmed high-elevation vineyard with varied soil types, which contribute complexity to the wine. It was harvested early in the mornings of September 15th. Upon arrival at the winery, the Grenache was pressed, fermented, and aged entirely in stainless steel to focus on the purity of fruit. After seven months of aging, this wine was bottled in April 1st, 2022.
Tasting Notes
"This pale-copper, highly expressive rosé begins with a powerful red berry and floral nose, in addition to honeydew melon, nectarine, chalky minerals, and sea salt aromas. Swirling brings cotton candy, raspberry purée, white flowers, and stone fruit. The wine is vibrant and precise on the palate, offering great depth and energy and without losing its beautiful, silky texture. A great combination of fruitfulness and minerality, this is a fruit-driven rosé, that you can drink now or in the next 3 years. "
