Stoneridge Blanc de Cabernet Franc
Sold Out
100% Cabernet Franc crafted from Stoneridge Vineyard in the Royal Slope. Stoneridge is a sustainably farmed high-elevation vineyard with varied soil types, which contribute complexity to the wine. It was harvested early in the morning of September 18th. Upon arrival at the winery, the Cabernet Franc was gently pressed to avoid drawing out any pigment, fermented, and aged entirely in stainless steel to focus on the purity of fruit. After seven months of aging, the wine was bottled March 30th, 2022.
Tasting Notes
"The pale gold Blanc de Cabernet Franc shows intense notes of pyrazines, green pea, asparagus, lemon peel, and cedar. The wine opens to sweeter aromas without losing its green core. Swirling brings cantaloupe, mint, black pepper, crushed rocks, white flowers, and raw honey. The mouthfeel is mouthwatering, pure, and vibrant, with great texture and volume. There’s also a very elegant salinity and minerality attached to it. This unicorn wine finishes long and juicy, with a touch of grip. Enjoy now or in the next 6 years."

“Fruit for this wine was gently pressed upon arrival at the winery to avoid bringing any pigment. It was subsequently fermented and aged in stainless steel. The aromas offer notes of herb, corn husk, and citrus. The palate is full-feeling and textural, showing depth and intensity. There’s one hand on the throttle, with impressive acidity keeping it all in control. Critic's Choice”
