Tasting Notes

"The medium-straw Sauvignon Blanc begins intense and complex, with a beautiful and slightly reductive nose. Pure Sauvignon Blanc aromas of gooseberry and lemongrass are framed by a minerally driven core of wet stone, flint, thyme, and white pepper. Swirling brings riper aromas of lychee and Asian pear, with greener notes of grass and green bell pepper. The mouthfeel is generous with a flavorful mid-pallet showing citrus and herbs. The wine finishes long and dry, with lingering acidity. Enjoy now or in the next 4 years."

Awards & Accolades

  • “Weighing in at 13.4% alcohol, the 2021 Jaine ‘Laura Lee Vineyard’ Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Royal Slope AVA as this spent seven months in stainless steel before bottling. White peach, star jasmine and suggestions of baking spice dusted Challah bread fill the nose. The palate is soft and refined with a seamless mouthfeel and is loaded with pear, green apple and melon fruit flavors. This gets better and better with air. Drink 2022-2028”
