Columbia Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Sold Out
The 2019 Jaine Sauvignon Blanc was crafted from one small vineyard parcel in the Columbia Valley, located just outside of the tri-cities on the east side of the Columbia River. The vineyard is fully sustainable and uses organic farming methods, whenever possible. The vineyards were hand-harvested early in the morning of August 22nd. Upon arriving in the winery, the vineyard lot was hand-sorted, whole-cluster pressed, and fermented using a combination of native yeast in small stainless steel tanks. To maintain freshness and verve, this Sauvignon Blanc was exclusively kept in tanks as opposed to cellaring in oak. Over the course of 8 months, this wine was individually evaluated over 40 times by our winemaking team, and finally bottled on August 3rd. Only 455 cases were made.

“Editor’s Choice. Lemon pith and herb aromas are followed by generous, intense flavors with a lot of texture and a mouthwatering finish. It’s everything you could want from this variety.”

“Sourced from the Columbia Valley, this shows lemon blossom tones alongside honeydew melon and shades of kiwi on the nose. The palate is soft and beautifully textured offering loads of bright acidity and citrus fruits. The finesse and sense of mouthfeel is really nice. Drink 2021-2025”

“Exotic notes of white grapefruit, flowers, and lime emerge from the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc, which is medium-bodied, lightly textured, and juicy, with a clean, crisp finish. It's going to shine with seafood and is ideal for quaffing over the summer months.”
