The Wahluke Slope AVA was established in 2006, as a part of the greater Columbia Valley AVA. This AVA is characterized by shallow soils, high elevation, low rainfall and long sunny days. Milbrandt Vineyards believes Wahluke is best for red varietal grapes and neighboring Ancient Lakes for white grape varietals. Milbrandt has gained recognition for great farming, and their fruit is highly sought after. We are thrilled to be able to source this high-quality fruit for our Jaine wines.
